first_imgIt will be a big day of Touch Football at the West Belconnen Leagues Club, with the semi finals and grand finals to take place on the day, followed by the Presentation Night. In the Men’s division, the Riteway Northern Phoenix finished the season on top of the ladder, with seven wins from their nine games, followed by the Woden Eagles with six wins, the Tuggeranong Vikings with five wins, with Canberra City in fourth place. In the qualifying finals at 1.00pm, the Phoenix will meet Canberra City while the Eagles will play the Vikings, with the winners progressing through to the final at 4.00pm.In the Women’s division, the Vikings finished on top of the ladder following the nine round games, with six wins, two losses and one draw. In second place are Canberra City, followed by the Eagles and the Phoenix respectively. In the Women’s qualifying finals at 12.00pm, the Vikings will meet the Phoenix while Canberra City will play the Eagles. The two winners will play in the final at 3.00pm. In the 16’s Mixed division, the Phoenix finished the regular season on top of the ladder, closely followed by Canberra City, both with six wins, two losses and a draw throughout the season. The Vikings finished in third place, followed by the Eagles. The 16’s Mixed division qualifying finals will be played at 11.00am and will see Canberra City take on the Vikings, while the Phoenix will play the Eagles. The winners will play in the grand final at 2.00pm.
