Pico Rivera camp registration opens PICO RIVERA – Registrations are currently open for local youngsters who would like to be part of the city’s spring break camps, which begin April 2. Children in kindergarten through second grade can enroll in “Kids in the Kitchen,” while those in third and fourth grade can sign up for “Dance Camp.” Both camps are held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 2 to 6. One-week camps cost $70 per child. Extended child care before and after the day camp is available for an extra fee. Campers are required to wear a camp T-shirt, which costs $6, and must bring a bag lunch daily. Transportation services offered SANTA FE SPRINGS – The Community Connection provides transportation, by appointment, to any destination within this city and Norwalk. Services are available from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Advanced registration is required. Registered riders may schedule an appointment by calling (562)929-7512. Fares for the Community Connection are as follows: 30 cents for seniors and those with disabilities; 45cents for youth accompanied by a registered rider; and 60cents for adults accompanied by a registered rider. City accepting fair applications PICO RIVERA – The city is accepting applications for arts and crafts, commercial and food vendors for the annual Bunny Hop Celebration and Vendor Fair. Applications are available at the Parks and Recreation Department at 6767 Passons Blvd. A $30 payment, for a 10-foot-by-10-foot indoor or outdoor space, must be submitted with the application, which should also include a list of the items or goods that will be sold during the event.
